Thursday 26th July
On a different note, it seems it could take a while for us to see any action from the chilli seeds themselves. The Chilli King suggests that it could take anything from one week to six weeks:
The time taken for germination varies greatly between varieties. More common varieties such as Apache or jalapeno usually germinate in anything between 1-3 weeks. Other more fickle varieties such as Habenero may take up to 6 weeks or longer. The key is to be patient! It's hard to say what type of chilis we are trying to grow.
